Is there a minimum order amount?
There is no minimum order however most orders under $300 can be placed simply through our online ordering. Online orders can be scheduled for up to 1 month. There is a minimum order of $200 for deliveries.
Do you deliver, is there a fee?
Yes, with advance notice we will deliver orders over $200. There is a $25 delivery fee for all orders outside of 8 miles from KoKyu Southpoint. We cannot guarantee delivery is available until it is confirmed by us.
Should I call KoKyu?
Filling out the catering request form will ensure that the correct team member will be in contact with you, we prefer to keep our phone lines free for takeout orders. If you have submitted your request and have not heard back and/or your event is within 72 hours and you have submitted the form, please do call so we can take appropriate action.
Is there a service charge or gratuity?
There is no service charge, and no automatic gratuity. Our entire team works hard to make these orders possible and any and all gratuities are split amongst the entire team. The delivery fee is not a gratuity and goes directly to the driver.
Does KoKyu provide disposables (napkins, serving utensils, cutlery trays etc.?)
Yes, for catering orders we will provide disposables for $1 per person if requested. This is an effort to eliminate waste and keep single-use items out of the landfills.
How far in advance should I confirm catering?
As much time as you can give us will help to ensure we can accommodate your order. If your event is within the next 72 hours, fill out the catering request form and call KoKyu at 919-251-9017 , this will help us mark your request as urgent and someone will get back to you by the next business day.
When will someone respond to my Catering Form Submission?
Within 24 hours of form submission, if for any reason you have not heard back from us please email kokyubbq@gmail.com
